Modelzone and Bachmann join forces again to bring you this limited edition, DCC Ready, Class 25 Diesel.

The real loco was built at Derby Works as D5218 and delivered to traffic in 1963.

Originally delivered in Green with small yellow warning panels. This was later repainted into Blue with small yellow panels and BR lion-and-wheel totems at Brush, Loughborough in the late 60's.

Under the BR TOPS renumbering; 5218 was renumbered as a Class 25/1 no. 25068, Withdrawn from Scotland's Eastfield Depot (coded ED) in July 1980, and scrapped soon after at Glasgow Works.

DCC ready with a 21 pin DCC socket on the printed circuit board which is ready to accept 21 pin DCC decoder 36-554
