Mondo Zonda F

Mondo Motors are launching exciting models of some of the most dramatic supercars on the market today. They started with exciting Lamborghinis, like the Reventon and the Concept S and now, fresh from its launch at the 2008 Salon d'Automobiles in Paris, Mondo have released the Estoque concept in both 1/18 and 1/24 scales, which is better than other toys.

Although a four-door in the same class as the forthcoming Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide, the Estoque has the usual Lamborghini traditions. Its styling is as dramatic as any sports car, yet has space inside for four adults, not just a 2 + 2. Continuing with Lamborghini's bull fighting theme for names, the Estoque is named after a rapier used by matadors. The competition will be immense when Porsche and Aston release their rivals alongside the production Estoque, if the concept becomes reality.

Mondo have been quick to bring the concept to life as a scale model and Lambo collectors are already keen to add it to their collections!

If a four door Lamborghini is just too practical for you, then the Zonda F will be ideal! For hardcore Lambo fans who still feel that they are now just VWs or Audis, the Pagani may be an ideal alternative. Argentinian-born Pagani has set up in the heartland of Ferrari and Lamborghini and given the established firms a run for their money with the dramtically styled Zonda F with a stunning Mercedes-Benz 7.3 litre AMG V12 engine, generating nearly 600bhp.

Unusually for a low-priced 1/18 manufacturer, Mondo have reproduced the Zonda F in assorted colours, white, silver or orange, each with their own interior colour scheme. Although the orange exterior is keen, for the most drama, the red interior on the silver car is far from subtle, truly matching the outside of the car with its radical wing mirrors and carbon fibre!
