There can't be many baby-boomers who have never played with Corgi toys. The first Corgi models appeared in the shops in 1956. The original range consisted of popular, British built saloon cars including the Ford Consul, Austin Cambridge and the Rover 90. But, without doubt, Corgi's best known model was the James Bond, Gold Plated, Aston Martin DB5, first produced in 1965. Another best seller was the 1966 Batmobile.
These days many of these early models command high price tags at specialist diecast collector auctions. But die cast model collecting is a very affordable hobby. These days most of the models produced by Corgi are once only limited editions that can sell out within weeks of release.
We love Corgi die cast models and we are proud to stock an excellent range including:
>> Corgi Comic Book Collectibles
>> Star Trek, Cult TV, Doctor Who and James Bond
>> Die Cast Aircraft, Buses, Commercial Vehicles, Race Cars and Road Cars
