Although retired following tragic accidents and poor economics, the Anglo-French super-sonic airliner remains one of the most spectacular, and beautiful, aircraft developments of the last few years. The first flight of the British Aircraft Corporation and Aerospatiale joint production was on 2nd March 1969. Passenger flights started operating at the beginning of 1976 (transatlantic and middle-east routes). The Concorde featured four Rolls Royce Olympus 593 engines (17,000 kN thrust each) and could transport up to 144 passengers in luxury at a maximum cruising speed of mach 2.04. Its range was 6.580 km. 1:144 model kit features:
• Nose optional in 2 positions
• Undercarriage optional extended or retracted
• Decals for 2 British Airways versions

A good model, the instructions could be a bit better, a bit fiddly to make, but I am very pleased with the end result, and having looked at an original Concorde at the Brooklands Museum, it is very authentic.
