The first "Green Monster" made it’s debut in 1952, then as a three wheeled dragster and painted with left-over green tractor paint. After several modifications, the car went on to set a Land Speed Record of 576.553 mph (927.829 kph) at Bonneville on the 7th November 1965. Driven by Arthur Eugene 'Art' Arfons.
