Dragon Model Kits

This destroyer was commissioned into the US Navy late in WWII, on 9 January 1945, and saw service in the Pacific, the Wake Island, and Tokyo Bay before the end of the war. In 1972 a change of ownership occurred when she was transferred to the Republic of Korea Navy and renamed ROKS Chung Buk. The 3,460-ton destroyer was eventually scrapped in 2000 after a long service life.

Dragon’s 1:350 scale assembly kit of the U.S.S. Chevalier maintains the high standards of their military ship range. Modelers have the choice of building their carrier with a full hull or with a waterline version, and the box contains newly tooled radar tower and platform.
