Corgi Ford Sierra XR4i - Black

The Sierra range was launched in September 1982 and just seven months later the XR4i arrived. Its' three window side profile and biplane rear spoiler meant it was visually the closest Sierra to the Probe III concept car Ford had previously shown to gauge reaction to their radical new 'Jelly Mould' look.

Ford's brochure and advertising material featured the car modelled here and used the slogan 'Man and high performance machine in perfect harmony', adding the words high performance to the slogan used to market the entire Sierra range.

This limited edition feature is part of the Vanguards range, as featured in Model Collector Magazine.
