What are your delivery charges or options?
For your convenience, we offer four delivery options:
FREE delivery - Spend £10 or more in a single transaction, and we will not charge you for delivery. Please allow up to seven working days for delivery. Applies to the UK mainland excluding the Scottish Highlands (post codes that begin HS, IV, KW, PA and ZE are classed as Scottish Highlands). Please note: FREE delivery is not available for Next Day orders.
STANDARD delivery - Our standard delivery charge is £2.99 for orders up to a value of £9.99. Please allow up to seven working days for delivery.
NEXT DAY delivery - Our Next Day delivery charge is £5.99. We use a courier, City Link, who aims to deliver to you the next working day. This service is only available in the UK mainland. If you place an order before 2.00pm on a weekday, it will be delivered to you the following working day. If you place your order after 2.00pm, on a Friday, or any time on a weekend or Bank Holiday, please add another working day. Tracking details will be supplied in your confirmation email. A signature is required when we deliver your order with Next Day delivery.
UPGRADE TO NEXT DAY DELIVERY: If you would like to get your order faster than the standard and have spent over £50 you have the option to pay a small surcharge of £2.99 to upgrade to Next Day Delivery. We use City Link, who aims to deliver to you the next working day. This service is only available in the UK mainland. If you place an order before 2.00pm on a weekday, it will be delivered to you the following working day. Deliveries by Courier
Consignments are delivered anytime between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm. Unfortunately it is not possible to specify an am or pm delivery time.
Europe
Depending on location and local Customs Authorities, European delivery can take up to 14 days after being dispatched and are subject to possible customs clearance and local charges.
All quoted delivery times are based on standard working days i.e. Mon - Fri (excluding public holidays etc.).

Change of delivery address
Once you have placed an order then you cannot change the address details online.
Unfortunately, we are also unable to support multiple delivery addresses per order.
Delivery Status
If you have not received your order or it is late please contact us. We will use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the estimated delivery times set out in Section 4.3 are met but we cannot accept any liability for late deliveries which are due to circumstances outside of our control.
Once the goods have been received by you, all risk of damage to, or loss of, the goods shall pass to you. If you intend to cancel your order in accordance with the cancellation and returns policy, you must keep good care of the goods pending their return to us.
Undeliverable packages
Occasionally we will have a package returned to us because the couriers were unable to deliver it to you. When this happens we will attempt to contact you to establish if you would like your order re-dispatching or refunding. If we cannot contact you within a week of receiving your parcel back into our warehouse we will issue a refund for the product.
What if only part of your order has arrived?
Before contacting us please check your paperwork to see whether there is more than one parcel – for example, if it says ‘1 of 2’ or ‘1 of 3’. This means that we were unable to package your entire order on one package and you should expect a further delivery within the next few days.
What if your order has not arrived at all?
Before contacting us, please check your emails from us or our courier. Please check your junk folder, and ensure that mzweb@modelzone.co.uk is added to your safe senders list. Then contact us quoting the order number and date of order. We will then track your order with the relevant party and inform you on the delivery status and next steps.
Collecting your order
At present, we are unable to deliver purchases to a ModelZone store. This is due to potential storage issues at our stores.

Bulky, Heavy and/or Oversized items
Although a standard delivery charge is indicated in the checkout process, certain items sold on Modelzone.co.uk may be subject to an additional delivery charge. This will be due to their weight, bulk and/or size. In this event you will be contacted regarding the total delivery charge and be given the option to amend your order should you wish to do so.
How are orders delivered?
We currently use City Link and Royal Mail to deliver your orders.
What does working day mean?
We are unable to deliver at weekends or on bank holidays. All orders are dispatched Monday to Friday.

United Kingdom
Our Next Day Delivery Service is only available for delivery to UK mainland addresses. Unfortunately at present post codes that begin AB, HS, IV, KW, PA and ZE are classed as Scottish Highlands, and so we are unable to offer Next Day delivery to those areas
European Union and Overseas

Can I send my order to a different name or address?
Yes. You are able to have your order sent to a different address, you can enter a shipping address when you reach the checkout.
Can I place an order and have it delivered to multiple addresses?
No, unfortunately we currently to not support multiple delivery addresses per order.
What if I want to change my delivery address?
Once you have placed an order you cannot change the address details or the delivery option selected.
If you want to change the address we have for you for future orders you can change this during checkout or login to the My Account page and click on 'Edit your details'.
Can I collect my order in store?
Currently it is not possible for you to reserve products on ModelZone.co.uk and pick up from your nearest store.
What happens if I am out when you deliver?
Deliveries will usually be made on Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. If you or the intended recipient is not in when the delivery attempt is made, our courier will leave a card confirming that they have tried to deliver. Please follow the instructions on the card to arrange re-delivery or collect your order.
What happens if a package is returned to ModelZone because it is undeliverable?
Occasionally a package is returned to us because the couriers were unable to deliver it to you. When this happens we will attempt to contact you to arrange a re-dispatch or refund. If we cannot contact you within 2 weeks of receiving your parcel we will arrange a refund.
