Geo Adams began in 1910 as a butcher’s shop in Lincolnshire, serving the market town of Spalding with quality meats and handmade pork pies. After the World War II, the businesses expansion was driven by acquiring butchers shops in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire and Norfolk and supplying them with meat products from Spalding, as well as slaughtering and manufacturing in South Lincolnshire. In the 1960s, many homes were serviced directly from completely unrefrigerated vans like the Anglia modeled here. The shop is still in operation, and has six modern expanding manufacturing sites throughout Lincolnshire.
