M3 Lee (Tunisia 1942)

An American tank rapidly designed and built to enter WWII service. Although it was typical of the worlds' tank designs when first introduced, it could not compete with the German armour of the time. It was eventually withdrawn from frontline duty in favor of the M4 Sherman.
