Built to satisfy the need for an 8-Ton, tractor towing vehicle, the multi purpose sd.Kfz.7 Half Track could also carry up to a dozen men, supplies and pull nearly 18.000lbs of weight. It was used to tow the infamous "88" anti tank gun and could be outfitted as a weapns carrier or mobile command post. When captured it was even pressed into service by Allied forces who admired its usefulness.
