Built at BR Eastleigh Works in 1957, these 2 car sets were built to BR standard designs, so were visually different from the previous Bulleid designed 2 & 4-EPB’s with which they were compatible. 5739 was one of a small number of units repainted into an early version of BR Blue, with a Small Yellow Warning Panel.
This 2 Car set is DCC Ready, and comes with an Illuminated Headcode and internal lighting.
Only a limited edition of 512 pieces is available of this model and includes a Limited Edition Certificate.

This is a great train, I've waited over 40 years for someone to make a model of this class. I may even buy another! The detail is excellent, just a shame it's not made in the UK! 10/10 A+++++++++++++++
