ModelZone Exclusive Bachmann Class 47 'The Royal Army Ordnance Corps'
No. 47972 was delivered new to Bristol Bath Road Shed in 1964 as D1646, becoming 47545 in 1974, 97545 in 1988 before renumbering to 47972 in 1989. The loco was repainted from Large Logo livery into Central Services livery for its naming at MoD Kineton by Major General D F Botting in Feb 1993. Denamed in 1999, the loco was finally withdrawn & stored by Fragonset in 2007.
This is a Limited Edition feature of 512 pieces and includes a Limited Edition Certificate.

Unable to complete the super-detailing due to vague instructions: ie black and white pictorial instructions for different coloured parts. Also too intricate for the average modeller. Otherwise an excellent product.

Not normally a fan of Limited Editions but have seen this in the flesh which led to the purchase. Paint finish is one of the best I have seen.
