BR Hawksworth (Post-1956) Composite

Chief Mechanical Engineer Frederick W. Hawksworth was at the forefront of steam locomotive development for many years. Although the wartime climate of austerity and government control of the railways' activities for the War effort during his later years prevented his ideas from becoming a reality, it allowed him to concentrate his efforts on improving the Railway's existing stock including much of its rolling stock.

Painted in its traditional livery (post 1956) of maroon with gold trim, the BR Hawksworth Composite Coach is brought back to life with this new release from Hornby. The coach features extensive detailed interior.
