Technical Spec

The US Marine Corps, trained specially for amphibious landing operations, were the spearhead of the war in the Pacific against Japan. Island hopping, the USMC fought their way to the very gates of the Japanese homeland suffering terrible losses in taking Iwo Jima and Okinawa before preparing for the assault on the Japanese mainland that never materialised.
