Good - but could be better by John (Posted on 13/11/2011): Coming after the Bachmann 4CEP release, this model has to be good to live up to expectations. It is good - but not as good as the CEP! The blue unit somehow doesn't look right - I think it's the alluminium window surrounds which are just too bright. The cab ends are also not quite right - but I find it difficult to pin down exactly why. The NSE fares better and looks better in its' later refurbished guise - and it is late years as the train has become all non smoking. But where are the curtains in First? Standard Class curtains were removed when the units were refurbished, but First Class retained blue curtains. I'll wait for the Blue and White version before purchasing, and only then if the model looks right - £150 is a lot to pay otherwise.
