Bachmann Windhoff MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) Railtrack

This Multi Purpose Vehicle is a purpose built engineering/infrastructure vehicle designed to meet the demands of the rail network. It can carry in excess of 60 tonnes over a range of 500 miles with power being provided by two volvo 265Kw engines. Since being introduced in 1999, these versatile vehicles are used extensively throughout all regions of the network and have replaced a variety of ageing departmental vehicles.
