Charge time is ok, 8hrs for 1st and 4hrs after that, this will run the boat for about 30mins or so. The boat operates fine, forward, back, left and right. Allignment adjustment for rudder on boat is handy.

Its very slow!!! so slow i thought that maybe it wasnt working correctly. it plods about at about 3-4mph at a guess.

I knocked it on a few things, got the propellor wrapped around a fishing line and flipped it over trying to ride the wake of a larger boat and it still came back for more, so quite sturdy. although saying that, the clips that hold the top on aren't great.

the instructions arnt very usful at all... regarding the battery, the only things i could find are "be sure to take the boat back to the shore before the battery runs out" and "the battery will loose charge all in one go with no warning"... seriously!

so all in all its not a bad toy, but the speed is so disapointing, especially due to the cost!!!
