Revell 1:24 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C Plastic Model Kit

Carrol Shelby was renowned for the conversion and design of sports cars. He planned to build cars that would beat the best vehicles in the world on the race track. He therefore looked for a big powerful engine and found it in the new Ford 260 V8 which he put into a small, light-weight sports car made by AC. The hugely powerful 427 V8 (7.0 litre) engine gave the Cobra more power and better handling than any of the other muscle cars of its time. In the Semi-Competition version this concentrated power gave the 427 acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and a top speed of a good 260 km/h. the 1:25 scale kit features:

•   True-to-original reproduction of typical bodywork with fine surface details
•   Separate movable bonnet
•   Detailed multi-part engine
•   Detailed interior with authentic dashboard and textured seats
•   Detailed wheel suspension
•   True-to-original reproduction of wheel rims and brakes
•   Detailed chassis
•   Many chrome parts, including wheel rims
•   Authentic decals for two different racing cars
